The Trust Welcomes New Administrative Office Manager
September 7, 2018 | Kurt Stege
As Trust President, I am quite happy to announce that former MTHP tour docent and photographer, Jennifer Gurske, has been hired to fill our part-time Administrative Office Manager position that opened at the end of July. Jennifer began working in that capacity on Wednesday, September 5.
Jennifer recently returned to the Madison area after a brief stint in Arizona. She brings a wealth of relevant experience, a strong interest in historic preservation, and great enthusiasm to the Trust. She holds a Master of Science degree in Cultural Resource Management and Archaeology, was a founding board member of the Chicago Cultural Alliance, worked as a litigation paralegal and has deep and wide-ranging experience with electronic communication. I’m excited to have her aboard.
Please welcome and introduce yourself to Jennifer at your next Trust event!
For all of August, I was very busy processing approximately 165 applications for the office position. In addition, I’ve been (slowly) dealing with the Trust’s incoming mail, phone and email stream. Apologies for any delays you may have encountered during this transition period.
